Read This Touching Letter to Buhari by Army Captain Over The Treatment of Wounded Soldiers

A Nigerian Army Captain who is depressed over the sad treatment of soldiers fighting Boko Haram in the North East has cried out to President Muhammadu Buhari to come to their aid.

Read his touching letter...

"I am crying out to the president, the Senate & COAS to see reasons for hasty treatment of troops who put their lives to defend this great country.

It would surprise every Nigerians and the President that soldiers who were wounded in the fight against the ongoing insurgency are still lying helpless in the various military hospitals.

As I speak to you, I was wounded in the fight 2014 and up till now, I am still laying in the hospital without my surgery, the reason being that the Nigerian army claim there is no money for our treatment for now.

Each time I set my eyes on other soldiers crying under pains, using regretting words for their effort not considered, I wept. How can the Nigerian army authority be this wicked?

Most of us with surgical issues came in here for over years, as usual in the military, a medical board was done with an outcome of a total estimate of our surgery some as low as two hundred thousand and above but we would be left without the surgery for years and we ask the medical director, we were shocked to be told that, the army headquarters have not approved it and something have not released money for our treatment.

I know on seeing this, the Nigerian Army would deny it but I am asking the president, members of the senate and well-meaning Nigerians to visit the following military hospitals to see this for themselves. 7Div medical hospital Maiduguri, Teaching hospital Maiduguri, 68NARH Yaba, Lagos state, 44NARHK Kaduna state and 2Div medical hospital.

This has brought so much fear to most of our colleagues in the theatre of war, because each time we tell them situation we are going through, they responded with panic and advise to trade with caution.

I am using the medium to invite people concern to please treat us as heroes and not criminals. God bless the president, the Senate, COAS, and Nigerians."

Breaking: Attempt to abduct a Federal High Court Judge by Police/DSS Operatives manhandle failed as Governor Wike attacked them in River state

Governor Wike alleges plot to declare state of emergency in Rivers State. According to a statement signed by Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor, Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, the illegal siege on Rivers State by Federal security agencies continued unabated during the early hours of Saturday as hundreds of Department of State Services (DSS) operatives and policemen attempted to illegally abduct a Federal High Court judge residing at Number 35 Forces Avenue in Port Harcourt.

The illegal failed abduction was led by Mr Tosin Ajayi, Rivers State Director of the Department of State Services (DSS) and Rivers State Police Commissioner, Mr Francis Odesanya.

The operatives of DSS reportedly rough-handled Governor Wike, pushing him around and injuring his hand. A few of the operatives cocked their rifles and threatened to shoot the Governor.
They were irked by Governor Wike's arrival at the scene shortly after the failed abduction process began. It was learnt that Governor Wike received security information on the illegal moves, minutes after the operation started.
The security operatives blocked the entrance of the residence of the Federal High Court judge at about 1am on saturday morning, claiming that they were acting on orders from above. As they dragged Governor Wike, they insisted that they must be allowed to leave with the judge.
However, the commotion attracted passers by and journalists who thronged the vicinity to know why hundreds of security agents in several Patrol vans had been mobilised.

Upon the arrival of the national media, the Rivers State Director of the DSS, Mr Tosin Ajayi jumped into his vehicle and fled the scene.

However, addressing journalists, Rivers State Police Commissioner, Francis Odesanya said the two security agencies were at the scene because they received privileged information.
Odesanya claimed he was at the scene as a peace maker. He declined comments on why the Police joined the DSS to abduct a serving Federal High Court judge.

In an interview with journalists at the scene of the failed illegal abduction of a Federal High Court judge by the Police and DSS, Governor Wike said it will not be under his watch that security agencies wiÄşl be allowed to entrench needless impunity.
He declared that their reckless action portends danger to the nation's democracy, noting that he is convinced that President Buhari is not aware of the level of impunity being perpetrated by Federal Securiy agencies.

Governor Wike stated that whatever the situation, the rule of law must prevail in a democratic setting.

He said if the security agencies had a lawful directive to implement, they must follow due process .

According to him:
"Not under my watch wiÄşl I allow this kind of impunity to take place. That is why we are here. I don't know which judge they were detailed to abduct. I didn't bother myself to know which judge. All I am interested in is that, at this level, it is not allowed.

"He is not a criminal and he is not an armed robber. If the person has committed an offence, invite him. It is only when he refuses to honour the invitation that you can adopt this commando style.
"The Commissioner of Police is here, the Director of DSS is here. Their operatives cocked their guns and threatened to shoot me. I have never seen that before. Again , this is to tell you what we are facing . We know that more will come. For us in this state, we shall continue to resist it."

Governor Wike added:
"It doesn't matter what it will cost. When you talk about liberty, sacrifices must be made. We are not trying to stop an arrest. All we are saying is that things must be done decently and in line with the rule of law.

"Rivers State is under siege. For you to see a governor out at this time of the day, something is wrong. A siege is an understatement. If this type of thing happens next time, the people wiÄşl resist it to the last".
The governor stressed:
"They are trying to do something funny in this state, probably to declare a state of emergency.

Fayose condemns postponement of Edo guber election, says; “democracy now in danger under APC”

Read the statement below...
Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has condemned the call for the postponement of the Edo State governorship election by the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Police, saying “It is obvious that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is challenged and afraid of losing the election and the party is using the federal government security agencies to cause a postponement of the election so as to be able to perfect its new rigging plans.”

The governor, who raised the alarm that “democracy is in danger” under the APC government, said; “obviously, within two years of APC government, Nigeria is in both economic and political recession and this should worry all true lovers of the country.” Reacting to the DSS and Police position that the election be postponed because of security threat, Governor Fayose, who spoke through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, said he was worried that “democracy in Nigeria has now graduated from inconclusive elections to postponement of elections in other to return APC candidates at all cost.” He said;

“Within two year, the APC government not only destroyed the economy of Nigeria, it has destroyed the legacy of free, fair and credible electoral process bequeathed on the country by the PDP.” The governor said; “The questions Nigerians must ask the APC-led federal government are; what security threat can overcome over 50,000 security personnel in an election holding in just one out of the 36 States in Nigeria? If election must be postponed in just one State because of security threat, what will then happen in 2019 when elections will be conducted in the entire country?

“Another question is; were they unaware of the security challenge when President Mohammadu Buhari went to Edo State to campaign for the APC yesterday? “No doubt, this is a game being played by the APC because it has become so imminent that the party cannot win the election if it is held on Saturday as scheduled.

“The postponement is obviously meant to give room for the APC to perfect a new rigging strategy and lovers of democracy in Nigeria should begin to see how the APC aims at perpetuating itself in power beyond 2019 even now that the party has been rejected by Nigerians.”

SHOCKING: Why We Took Over Jonathan Cousin’s Firm - Nigeria Army

The Nigerian Army has given reason why army men from Headquarters Garrison, Mogadishu Cantonment, Abuja, took over the premises of a company belonging to Mr. Robert Azibaola, a cousin to former President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday.

Report had it that the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, pass the information through a text message that the land in question belonged to the Army.

According to him, the Army decided to take over the property because the service did not want any further encroachment on the property.

Mr. Usman added that the Nigerian Army would not tolerate any encroachment on its land. “The said property is on Nigerian Army’s land and the Army will not allow anybody to encroach on its land.
The property has to be sealed to prevent further encroachment, he stated.

The Soldiers had taken over the premises of Kakarta Civil Engineering Limited, owned by the former President’s cousin, located along the Kubwa/Asokoro Expressway on Saturday. The company shares boundary with the Luigi Barracks of the Nigerian Army.

In reaction to this, Lagos-based lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), on Sunday, called on President Muhammadu Buhari, to caution the Nigerian Army for alleged arbitrary use of its powers and use of brute force on innocent citizens. Mr. Falana tagged his statement as, on the heel of the invasion of the premises of Kakarta Civil Engineering Limited on Saturday.

He added that the Army took possession of the property, owned by Azibaola, without a court order.
He said, “Sequel to the illegal action of the Army of occupation, the innocent workers in the company have been sent to the unemployment market.  Although the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has charged Mr. Azibaola to court for alleged criminal diversion of $40m from the office of the National Security Adviser, he pleaded not guilty to the charge and has been granted bail.
“The implication of the plea is that he is presumed innocent until the contrary is proved by the prosecution.

“Therefore, if the Nigerian military authorities had wanted to dispossess him of the property in question, they ought to have applied for a court order. But by taking over the property under the pretext that it constitutes a threat to a nearby military barracks, the military authorities took the law into their hands, he said.

“The forceful seizure of the property should not be tolerated in a civilized society which operates under the rule of law.”

Angry Delta Youths In Massive Protest Shutdown Chevron Administrative & Logistics Office

The gate that led Chevron offices, the American oil giant, reside in Niger Delta where blocked on Monday, August 15, 2016 by angry protester, with demonstration to demand jobs and housing.

One leader in the community said majority of them are unemployed youth, they have previously blocked the entrance to Chevron’s Escravos oil storage tank farm since last week, claiming the facility had destroyed their housing settlement.

“What we shut down on Monday is Chevron’s administrative and logistics office in Warri that serves Escravos,” said Collins Edema, a protest leader. “No work is going on there as we speak, and Chevron Escravos remains shut.”

“Some of us are now in a meeting with Chevron personnel at the palace of the Olu of Warri (traditional ruler of Warri) but the protesters are still at Chevron’s office,” he said.

Express Community leader and Warri resident Godspower Gbenekama said the protesters have been demonstrating at the gate of Chevron’s Warri site since early Monday.

“They are complaining that Chevron is not bringing anything to the table to benefit their host community,” he said.

Chevron was not immediately available to comment on the office occupation or the meeting. The company confirmed last week the tank farm protest without saying whether oil production had been affected.

Communities in Nigeria’s southern swampland often complain about oil pollution and houses being moved to make way for drilling. They also say they live in poverty despite sitting on much of Nigeria’s oil wealth.

The Niger Delta region has been hit by a wave of militant attacks on oil and gas pipelines, reducing Nigeria’s crude output by 700,000 barrels a day, according to state oil company NNPC.

The militants, which are splintered into many groups, say they want a greater share of Nigeria’s oil wealth – which accounts for around 70 percent of national income – to be passed on to communities in the impoverished region and for areas blighted by oil spills to be cleaned up.

This Lady commit suicide After She Was Abandoned by the Rich Guy She Married To

A must read most especially the ladies. NEVER date or marry a man for the cash he has and the comfort you believe you would enjoy by getting married to him. Wait, there is nothing wrong in marrying a rich guy but what WE will tell you for free is, you will get yourself into a mess if that is your focus because the crazy quest for a rich man will blind you to what truly matters in marital life.

Any man who does not have the fear of God - you can't see it, you can't feel it and you can't hear him talk about God - don't marry him even if he's a Billionaire. It takes just a few months for a rich man to get tired of a woman and once that happens, sorry is your name if he lacks the fear of God.

This beautiful 24yrs old nursing mother died after her rich husband "abandoned her". The details...

Her close friends who knew her story said that Olachi Manndarin Emmanuel got married last year to a Port Harcourt big boy, who is from Benue State, and while she was giving birth to their daughter few months later, She developed complication with her pelvic bone.
This allegedly prompted the husband to start acting funny, he beat her up before dumping her and bundling her back home to her parents house. Olachi's condition worsened thereafter and she fell into a coma few weeks ago and all attempts to reach her husband failed as he reportedly warned the family to stay off his back as he has moved on.

Sadly, Olachi died in the process. Below is what one of her friends Ben wrote on his FB page:
"I bleed and talk out of anger tonight as I watch a small innocent girl ready to be committed to mother earth at 24 years tomorrow being Friday and her daughter will be 1 year by next tomorrow being Saturday.

To this wicked, devilish, stupid, heartless and a fool of a husband that took a girl of 22 years, married her and got her pregnant and returned her back sick to her parents and left her on a sick bed as a result of her breaking her waist during child birth, u will die like her. u are such an animal and a disappointment to humanity.

U were not forced to marry her and what u used to pay her back for the love she showed to you and left every other suitor for you is to return her back and never set ur eyes on the innocent girl for close to a year, note even when she was in coma for weeks before death.

U Mr. Benue man, u did dis cos she is not from Benue state and u work in the oil company in Port Harcourt and u have money, but let me without fear tell you that Vengeance is coming cos God is ready to Avenge. U beat up the innocent girl even on clutches just for her to go, I ask when u married her, was she disabled?

U abandoned an innocent girl that is not up to a year cos u want to have nothing to do with ur wife.

Legally married and wedded in the church. hahahahahaha I see the God of Vengeance striking. Man u are very stupid for saying u can only give the family #30,000 for the burial of ur own wife.

Where have the love u both shared gone to? Why are u heartless, y did u kill ur wife and abandoned a girl that will be 1 year old by Saturday to wander in dis wicked world without the care of a mother. the people of Owerri west LGA of Imo state and the entire imolites must rise to get justice.

I will make sure justice is gotten. Above all u refused her to be buried in ur place, man I want to ask u, what on earth has this small girl done that can't be corrected or resolved or settled or forgiven?

Why must u surfer her to die at this age? Finished university in 2014, served and married u in the same year 2015 and u wickedly killed her in 2016. Vengeance is coming and God must Avange her death.

Rip MRS. Olachi and I wish your Dad is alive to prevent this insult and injustice to ur family. My prayers are that the God of Vengeance should Avenge ur death. Rip, I write with a heavy heart. Good night.
- Olachi Mandarina Emmanuel."
