About 43 Percent Of Americans Ask Trump To Withdraw From Presidential Race

In a report according to yahoo more than 40 percent of Americans say Donald Trump should step dawn in the presidential race following the release of a video of the GOP nominee making lewd comments about women in 2005.

The report said ABC News and SSRS, a survey research firm conducted a rapid response poll, asking whether Trump should withdraw as the Republican nominee for president. Forty-three percent said he should, while 57 percent said he should stay in the race.

As to the effect of the video of Trump's vulgar comments on their vote, 53 percent said they are now less likely to cast a ballot for Trump, and 46 percent said the recording of the nominee's remarks will make no difference in their decision. Two percent said the video makes them more likely to vote for him.

There was a stark gender gap, with 62 percent of women less likely to vote for him while 55 percent of men say it will make no difference on their vote.

Prior to The Washington Post's release of the video on Friday afternoon, another ABC News/SSRS poll asked Americans how worried they would be for the future of the country depending on which candidate is elected president.

Sixty percent said they are “very worried” about the country's future if Trump wins the presidency, significantly more than the 39 percent who said the same about the prospect of Democrat Hillary Clinton becoming president.

Over 75 percent of Americans said they are "somewhat to very worried" about the country's future if Trump becomes president, compared to 60 percent who have that level of concern about Clinton winning the election.

Also prior to the release of the video of Trump's lewd remarks, we asked respondents to give the first word that comes to mind when thinking about the two major-party presidential candidates. The top responses were “disgusted,” “disappointed,” and “scared.” This comes during an election when both candidates have received historically high unfavorable ratings in polls.

NBC's 'Today', seriously condemned Billy Bush  for his comments about women during the recorded conversation with Donald Trump.

In a report according to TMZ;

NBC says Bush -- who hosts the 3rd hour of 'Today' -- is suspended indefinitely. Executive Producer Noah Oppenheim said, "There is simply no excuse for Billy's language and behavior on that tape."
On the 2005 Access Hollywood tape ... Bush was heard talking to Trump about an actress moments before she escorted both men to the set of a soap opera. Bush said, "Jeez, your girl's hot as s***! The Donald has scored!!"
Bush has apologized saying he was "younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along" with what Trump described as "locker room banter."
Story developing ...

What can we say about Billy's suspension? Do you agree with it?

Donald Trump issues an apology in the wake of the sex audio leaked

A 2005 audio which captured US Presidential candidate, Donald Trump talking with Billy Bush, then of “Access Hollywood,” on a bus as they arrived on the set of “Days of Our Lives” to tape a segment about Trump’s cameo on the soap opera, made the rounds online on Friday.

In the audio Donald Trump and Billy Bush were heard making vulgar statements about women and how Donald tried to have sex with a married woman.

After the video was released online, both Donald Trump and Billy Bush made statements to apologize for their vulgar language.

Speaker of the House, Republican, Paul Ryan who was supposed to be on a Presidential campaign with Trump and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, in Wisconsin, condemned Trump's statements on the tape and disinvited him to the presidential campaign.

Following sharp criticism by Republican leaders, Trump issued another short video statement saying, “I said it, I was wrong, and I apologize.”

But he also called the revelation “a distraction from the issues we are facing today.
He said that his “foolish” words are much different than the words and actions of Bill Clinton, whom he accused of abusing women, and Hillary Clinton, whom he accused of having “bullied, attacked, shamed and intimidated his victims.”

“I’ve never said I’m a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone that I’m not. I’ve said and done things I regret, and the words released today on this more than a decade-old video are one of them. Anyone who knows me knows these words don’t reflect who I am,”

US Presidential Election Update: Clinton camp cheers Trump promise to live-tweet VP debate

Donald Trump won’t be on stage for Tuesday night’s vice presidential debate, but he plans to make himself heard.

Several hours before the debate was scheduled to start, Trump announced that he would be “live tweeting” as his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, faced off against the Democratic vice presidential nominee, Sen. Tim Kaine.

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Other Clinton aides also joined in cheering Trump’s vow.
Robby Mook, Clinton’s campaign manager, laughed when Yahoo News informed him of Trump’s plan. “That would be great if he did,” Mook said.

The Clinton campaign’s communications director had a similarly positive reaction when reporters told her that Trump would be live-tweeting.

“Good!” Palmieri said.

Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta also weighed in on Twitter:

Meanwhile, Republican National Committee chief strategist, Sean Spicer, who has been advising the Trump campaign, said Trump’s tweets would add an intriguing element to the vice presidential debate.

“It’s definitely going to be a new twist in this already interesting cycle,” Spicer said.

Trump’s tweets have previously gotten him into hot water on the campaign trail. At the end of last week, Trump posted a flurry of messages criticizing media coverage of his campaign. His tweeting continued into the wee hours of Friday morning, as he attacked former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, who has accused him of body-shaming her when the mogul owned the beauty pageant 20 years ago.

The Clinton campaign mocked the late night tweets as a “meltdown,” calling Trump “unhinged,” and the episode made waves of negative headlines. Just before Trump’s Twitter feud, he had closed his gap with Clinton in the polls, adopting what his campaign described as a “more disciplined” approach.

Yahoo News asked Clinton’s traveling press secretary, Nick Merrill, if Clinton was planning to live-tweet the debate.

“I don’t think so,” he said.
