Facts You Must Know About President Buhari Government

Around this time in 2014!!!

• Fr. Ejike Mbaka of Catholic Diocese of Enugu has started seeing a vision of how Buhari is the Messiah we have been waiting for and the best President Nigeria will ever have, while Goodluck Jonathan was a bad luck for Nigeria. But today Catholic Priests and faithful are massacred and slaughtered in large numbers under Buhari. Mbaka is yet to see another vision.

• Tinubu said Buhari was the best Person to lead Nigeria but today for the first time in decades Tinubu's party in Lagos has parallel Primaries thanks to Buhari's leadership.

• Around this time in 2015, TY Danjuma told us Buhari was a good leader... Today Danjuma's people are under siege and he says the army under Buhari is giving cover to those who are slaughtering Danjuma's people in the Middle Belt.

• Around this time in 2014,  Pastor Tunde Bakare told us we can expect a better Nigeria under Buhari. Today Pastor Bakare is advising Nigerians to look for a better leader who will restructure and save Nigeria from Buhari's cabal.

• Around this time in 2014, Prof Tam David-West promised Nigerians that Buhari will make petrol #45 per liter, today Petrol is #145 per liter and Buhari has spent #1.4trillion on fuel subsidy which he claimed was a fraud. Prof. Tan David West has gone deaf and dumb.

• Around this time in 2014,  Sai Buharists swore that Buhari will declare his assets publicly and produce his WAEC certificate... Till date, he has neither shown us his WAEC certificate or declared his real assets.

• About this time in 2014 Fashola said a serious Govt will fix power problem in Nigeria within 6 months. Three years after they have taken power, they have not added one megawatt to the grid. Fashola is now minister of darkness under Buhari.

• About this time in 2014, Buhari said naira will be #1 to $1 yet he has messed it up from #187 in 2015 to $1 to #365 to $1 in 2018.

• About this time in 2014, my Uncle Ofia was busy campaigning for Buhari. He told me that Buhari will make Nigeria's economy better than that of Dubai. Today, my Uncle's company has folded because of Buhari's bad economic policies and administrative cluelessness.

• About this time in 2014, Buhari promised that insecurity especially Boko Haram insurgency will end in 3 months. But in 3 years he has added the Fulani herdsmen terrorism and militia which is by far more dreaded and deathly than  Boko Haram and human lives in Nigeria have become meaningless and valueless under Buhari's watch.

• In 2014/2015 OBJ was campaigning for Buhari because for him then it was anything but Jonathan. Today Obasanjo has seen what a grave judgment he passed and what afflictions he wrecked on the nation.

United Nations Sends Former President Obasanjo To Liberia.

The United Nations, UN Secretary-General, António Guterres has announced that he is sending former President Olusegun Obasanjo to support Liberia to peacefully transfer of power to a democratically-elected president.

The UN Scribe, who made the announcement yesterday in New York through his spokesperson, Stephane Dujarric, also welcomed the peaceful conduct of the second round of the presidential election in Liberia.
Liberians on Tuesday elected former football star George Weah as President making it the first time the West African country will peacefully transit from one democratically-elected leader to another in more than 70 years.

The statement by Dujarric read;

“The Secretary-General hopes that the will of the Liberian electorate will be respected and that a seamless transfer of power will take place within constitutional timelines”.

Guterres had requested Obasanjo, a member of the Secretary-General’s High-Level Advisory Board on Mediation, to travel to the capital, Monrovia, from Thursday, Dec. 28 to Saturday, Dec. 30 Dec.

Obasanjo, who is one of 18 global leaders, senior officials and experts on the high-level board created earlier this year to advise the Secretary-General on mediation and back those efforts around the world, has participated or led in mediation efforts in Angola, Burundi, Mozambique, Namibia and South Africa, among others.

See Photos As Argentina Coach Dragged Out In Public After Insulting A Police Officer

Argentina manager Jorge Sampaoli had to be dragged away by friends as he turned on police at a traffic stop. According to reports, the coach insulted one of the officers after the vehicle he was in was pulled over as he returned from his daughter Sabrina’s wedding.
Local reports said he lost his temper after being told some of the eight people in the Ford Focus had to get out because it was too full.
Sampaoli, a passenger in the vehicle, could be overhead shouting at one of the officers as he headed back to his hotel on foot: ‘You make me walk two blocks, a**hole. ‘You earn 100 pesos (£4.20) a month, idiot.’

The video footage, taken by the driver of a car behind Sampaoli’s vehicle, was going viral in the football manager’s native Argentina on Tuesday.

The incident happened around 5.30am on Sunday in Casilda, the coach’s home city which is in the province of Santa Fe around an hour’s drive from Rosario where Lionel Messi comes from.

The woman driver of the Ford Focus passed a breath test before officers insisted the vehicle couldn’t continue with so many people inside.

Federico Censi, a city Councillor in charge of public safety, told local paper La Capital the car was allowed to continue after some of its passengers including Sampaoli got out.
He is said to have walked the rest of the way back to a four-star hotel he was staying at in the center of the city, named as the Hotel Cuatro Plazas.

La Capital said the coach’s brother Marcelo had apologized to officials afterwards in a phone call. Sampaoli has now left Casilda to begin a short holiday.

“I won’t steal Nigeria’s money; I pray 5 times a day” — President Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has asked his children to study hard, saying he will not steal Nigeria’s money.

The president said this in a documentary entitled “Buhari: Beyond the Iron and Steel” aired on Nigerian Television Authority last night by the Presidency.

Buhari also said the goodwill he enjoyed from the masses kept him in politics.

He added that his central objective was to provide transparency and accountable government.

“I pray five times a day thanking God that allowed people to understand and believe me. This goodwill that I enjoy from the masses is what is keeping me in politics and of course, my central objective is to provide transparency and accountable government,” he said.

Earlier in a Facebook post, presidential spokesman Mr Femi Adesina quoted some government officials as commenting on Buhari thus:

“He gives you things to do, and leaves you strictly to do those things. No interference at all, once he has confidence in you….And he cracks those jokes, and manages to still keep a straight face.” -Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

“He gave me some priority projects: Mokwa/Jebba road, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, and Second Niger Bridge…He never appends his signature to anything, unless you’ve explained, and he understands it.” Mr Babatune Raji Fashola, Minister of Power, Works and Housing.

“When we were in the opposition, you needed to see how we rolled on the floor in his living room, as we laughed. Of course, we can’t do that again now.” Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, Kaduna State governor.

“I wish I had his patience. He would listen to everybody, and then take a decision. He is a reformed democrat.” Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State.

“How I wish Nigerians know his softer and accommodating side. Very jocular. But it is our duty to tell them.” Abike Dabiri, Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Matters.

“I thought I was 74 but I was told I am 75” — Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday stirred up a fresh controversy over his real age when he said he thought he was 74 but was told he was 75.

Buhari spoke when the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammed Bello, led a delegation to pay him Christmas homage at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The President, joined by state governors and other top government officials, celebrated his 75th birthday penultimate Sunday. He was said to have been born on December 17, 1942, in Daura, present day Katsina State.

While thanking his guests for the visit, Buhari recalled the health challenge that kept him away from the country for months earlier in the year and admitted that 2017 had been a tumultuous year for him.

The President said he had recovered well from the sickness because he obeyed his doctors who instructed him to be eating and sleeping well.

He said, “I am very grateful (to you) for taking time out on a very important day to come out and spend it with us.

“It has been a tumultuous year. I am thinking I am 75. I thought I was 74 but I was told I was 75.

“I have never been so sick, not even during the 30-month civil war that I was stumbling under farm of yams or cassava.

“But this sickness…I don’t know, but I came out better. All those who saw me before said I look much better when I came back.

“But I have explained it to the public that as a General, I used to give orders. But now, I take orders. The doctors told me to feed my stomach and sleep for longer hours. That is why I am looking much better.”

Buhari said he appreciated the visit because he respects good neigbourliness both at individual and national levels.

He said that was why immediately after his inauguration as President in 2015, his first foreign trip was to Chad, Niger, Cameroon and Benin Republic.

“If you are in good terms with your neigbours, then you can make some savings for development.

“But if you start fighting your neigbours, then I am afraid the resources you have you will lose it in trying to be very clever.

“So I try to be very close to my neigbours both individually and nationally. I thank you very much for being very good neigbours,” he added.

The President admitted that 2017 has been a tough year for Nigeria.

He expressed the hope that next year would be more prosperous for the country

“It’s such a shame that Christmas has been celebrated, with this sort of discomfort.” — Osinbajo

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has admitted that it is a shame Christmas celebration in Nigeria has so far been characterised by discomfort caused by the lingering fuel scarcity.

His Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande, in a statement on Monday morning quoted the Vice President as speaking during the interactions he had with some people keeping vigil at two filling stations in Lagos.
Osinbajo was said to have made surprise appearances at Oando Filling Station in Lekki and Hayden Petrol Station, Victoria Island.

“It’s such a shame that Christmas has been, to some extent, with this sort of discomfort.

“This is deeply regretted, and l know that, despite the resilience and strength of people in Lagos and the Nigerian people, we would see ourselves through this and will enjoy our Christmas and have a great new year,” he was quoted as telling those who were on queue to buy the scarce commodity.

He said the Federal Government was moving as quickly as it could to solve the fuel crisis and reduce the difficulties Nigerians were facing as a result.

He added, “We are trying to move as quickly as we can. Obviously, people have gone through a lot of pain and anguish in the past few days, and that is deeply regretted.

“We are trying to do what we can to move as quickly as possible and there is certainly enough products to be able to solve the problem.

“We will be able to solve the problem; the short period of scarcity is quite a bit of burden, but we know that so long as products are enough and the trucks coming out and feeding the stations, this will be over very soon.

“I am going around with the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources here in Lagos to ensure that first, the trucks are being loaded from all the depots, and also looking at the filling stations to see that things are moving on very well.

“The GMD of the NNPC is also working in Abuja to see that things are moving quickly and we are moving around the country. So we expect that it will be resolved very quickly.”

Osinbajo later took to his social media accounts to announce that he witnessed firsthand the discomfort Nigerians have been experiencing during his visits to the filling stations.

He assured Nigerians that the government is working hard to end their pains as soon as possible.

He added that President Muhammadu Buhari had mandated all those concerns to bring an end to the situation.

Osinbajo wrote, “Christmas is a time of cheer, joy, and hope for the coming New Year. Many people would love to be around their families, but regrettably, cannot because of the inadequacies in the fuel supply in different parts of the nation.

“This is something that President Buhari is deeply concerned about, mandating all relevant persons to bring an end to the fuel queues.

“I witnessed first-hand the discomfort that many of us have to contend with. We sympathise with you and we are working assiduously to eliminate this pain in the shortest possible time.

“We regret this inconvenience while assuring you that all hands are on deck to return things to normalcy.

“I do hope that you still find time to reflect on the miracle of Christmas to lift your spirit and that of your family. God bless you and God bless our great nation.”

Detailed report on White House Aide Omarosa who resigns from the White House, to depart in January

Omarosa Manigault Newman, a White House aide and former "Apprentice" contestant has rfesigned from her position in the White House. Her title was assistant to the president and communications director for the Office of Public Liaison.

Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said on Tuesday evening that Omarosa had resigned "to pursue other opportunities."
"Omarosa Manigault Newman resigned yesterday to pursue other opportunities. Her departure will not be effective until January 20, 2018. We wish her the best in future endeavors and are grateful for her service," a statement from Sarah Sanders read.

However, recent reports have it that Omarosa, who is of Nigerian descent, was actually fired from the White House.

CNN contributor, April Ryan, claims that Omarosa was fired for acting out. She got shown the door at the White House because Chief of Staff John Kelly "was tired of it," April Ryan told Wolf Blitzer on Wednesday afternoon.

"He was tired of all the drama," she specified.

"Omarosa is a mood changer for the President; she could get in his ear," explained Ryan, who is American Urban Radio Network’s White House Correspondent & Washington Bureau Chief.

Ryan whoi has never liked Omarosa and has always called her a 'coon' added:

Kelly informed Omarosa she was fired on Tuesday night but agreed that it would take effect on January 20, as announced by Sanders. But the firing did not sit well with Omarosa who wanted to know if Trump had signed off on it. When told that Trump had signed off on it, she nonetheless wanted to talk to Trump but Kelly refused. Omarosa then tried to go see Trump in the White House residence without Kelly's approval and she got stopped by security, who alerted Kelly. Kelly, the former Secretary of Homeland Security and a Marine Corps general, told Secret Service to remove her. Omarosa was escorted off the property.

Omarosa was one of Trump's highest-profile African-American female supporters and one of the few black women in Trump's West Wing. Having been escorted from the White House by Secret Service, Ryan said she can’t see Omarosa filling out her remaining weeks on the job.

Ekiti probe panel: Fayemi, others must account for whereabouts of N2.75bn from N25bn bond, 17 buses carted away

The Judicial Commission of Inquiry set up by Ekiti State Government to look into the financial transactions of the state under the administration of Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has said that the former governor must account for the whereabouts of a sum of N2.75 billion allocated from the N25 billion bond obtained by the government for the execution of contract for the construction of Ultra-Modern market in Ado Ekiti, which was never executed.

The commission of inquiry also said that the contractor in respect of the furnishing of the government house built by the Fayemi’s administration should be made to refund a sum of N324.8 million, noting that the contract should not have been more than N280 million.

The panel said it found out that KITWOOD Nigeria Limited to which the furnishing contract of over N600 million was awarded had no traceable address and that “the address on the Letter of Award is a virgin land at opposite the new Central Bank along new Iyin Road, Ado Ekiti.

These and several other revelations were made known today, when the commission of inquiry submitted its report to the State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose. The panel was headed by Justice Silas Oyewole (rtd).

On the purchase of vehicles, the panel said “claim by Coscharis Motors that it supplied 235 and/or 250 vehicles was fraudulent and that fraught with so many contradictions.

“That Coscharis Motors supplied some vehicles outside Ekiti State especially, at Ibadan Liaison office when Ekiti State Government does not have a Liaison office in Ibadan. In respect of this, seven vehicles were supplied outside the State and signed for by unknown
persons.

That Coscharis Motors only supplied 219 vehicles to the Ekiti State government and that 17 Joylong Buses were supplied to the Ekiti State Government as gift but later carted away.”

On the controversial N852.9 State Universal Education Board (SUBEB) fund, the commission said it was clear that the Government of Dr Fayemi hoodwinked the federal government into paying its own matching grant by obtaining N852, 936,783.12 loan from Access Bank on November 25, 2013 without perfecting documentation in respect of the loan, thereby flouting the provisions of Section 11(2) of the UBEC Act, 2004.

While receiving the report, Governor Fayose said asking people to account for their stewardship should not be termed witch hunting, as leaders must be accountable and that Ekiti people have the inalienable rights to know how their commonwealth was being used.

"I appreciate the panel members for a thorough job done. The time and energy they put into the job. The panel waited for the outcome of the court case instituted by former Governor Kayode Fayemi before it concluded its job because we are ardent believers in the rule of law and if the court had ruled that we should stop, we would have stopped.

"There is no witch hunting in a situation whereby people are asked to account for their stewardship. Am glad that the Federal Government is also pursuing the policy of accountability and we are following suit here too," he said.

Governor Fayose subsequently inaugurated a four-man administrative panel to study the report and come out with a White Paper. The administrative panel is headed by the Commissioner for Justice, Mr Kolapo Kolade.

Earlier, Justice Oyewole said though the panel was given three months to do its work when inaugurated in May this year, it had to bid its time to see the end of the litigation by Fayemi.

In another development, Governor Fayose has set up a four-man panel to look into agitation by some communities for autonomy and other sundry issues.

It has Justice Silas Oyewole as the chairman and tagged Justice Oyewole Chieftaincy Commission of Enquiry 2018. The governor said that the panel had six months to complete its work and could also look into other issues relating to its terms of reference.

In his remarks, Justice Oyewole said he would never be tired of serving the state in any capacity he is asked to.

Other members of the commission are Magistrate Ojo Ayenimo, Alex Adekunle and Gbenga Adaramola.

'Rotimi Amaechi is an Ignoramus and Here Are The Facts to Prove it'- Reno Omokri

It is quite possible that Rotimi Amaechi is losing his marbles otherwise why else would he be asking former President Jonathan to account for the $65 billion that former Olusegun Obasanjo left in the Excess Crude Account when there was never any such amount?
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria who served under his tenure, Professor Charles Soludo are both alive and journalists can take advantage of the Freedom of Information Act signed into Law by former Jonathan to verify from them if there was ever any $65 billion in the Excess Crude Account.

Rotimi Amaechi is a notorious ignoramus who speaks without thinking and it is suspected that either he is speaking under the influence of drugs or he is going senile.

The reason I say so is because Rotimi Amaechi as Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum is precisely the reason why the Excess Crude Account had to be phased out and below are the facts:

The Jonathan administration met $6.5 billion in the Excess Crude Account upon inception in 2010 and not $65 Billion as wrongly asserted by Rotimi Amaechi. In fact, the Jonathan Government ought to be praised for increasing the amount in the ECA to almost $9 billion by 2012.

However, the Nigerian Governors Forum led by no other person than Rotimi Amaechi, using their influence at the House of Representatives, had gotten that August body to declare the Excess Crude Account illegal in 2012.

So excruciating was the pressure from the Nigerian Governors Forum and most notably from the then Rivers state Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, (now the minister of transport) for the Jonathan administration to end the Excess Crude Account and the Sovereign Wealth Fund regimes and instead share the funds in those accounts amongst the three tiers of government that they approached the Supreme Court, to challenge the legality of the Excess Crude Account and then President Jonathan’s decision to transfer $1 billion from that account to the Sovereign Wealth Fund.

In fact after hosting a meeting of the forum on September 21, 2012, at the Rivers state Governor's lodge, Rotimi Amaechi said inter alia:

“On the Excess Crude Account, Forum unanimously decided to head back to Court to enforce the Federal Government’s adherence to the constitution."

To those who do not know what the Constitution says, let me give you an insight by quoting from Section 162.

Section 162, provides that

“(1) The Federation shall maintain a special account to be called ‘the Federation Account’ into which shall be paid all revenues collected by the Government of the Federation, except the proceeds from the personal income tax of the personnel of the Armed Forces of the Federation, the Nigeria Police Force, the Ministry or department of government charged with responsibility for Foreign Affairs and the residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

“(2) The President, upon the receipt of advice from the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission, shall table before the National Assembly proposals for revenue allocation from the Federation Account, and in determining the formula, the National Assembly shall take into account, the allocation principles especially those of population, equality of States, internal revenue generation, land mass, terrain as well as population density;

“(3) Any amount standing to the credit of the Federation Account shall be distributed among the Federal and State Governments and the Local Government Councils in each State on such terms and in such manner as may be prescribed by the National Assembly.”

From the above it was clear what the Amaechi led Governor's forum wanted.

Mr. Amaechi led the governors in taking the Federal Government to court. The Jonathan administration offered an out of court settlement with the governors in a deal that would have seen the federal government sharing some of the money and saving up the rest for Nigeria’s future but the governors rejected the offer.

In fact, the Jonathan Administration had argued at the Supreme Court that sharing the money in the ECA would affect "the day to day running of the nation’s economy".

Working in tandem with Mr. Amaechi and his supporters in the Nigerian Governors Forum, the then minority APC members of the House of Representatives approached a Federal High Court on the 7th of February, 2014, for a perpetual injunction restraining the Jonathan administration from operating the ECA and to pay all the proceeds of that account into the Federation Account for sharing amongst the three tiers of government.

As a result of these actions, the Jonathan administration paid the 36 states of the federation a total of N2.92 trillion from the Excess Crude Account between 2011 and 2014. Using the value of the Naira at that time that amount was just above $20 billion dollars.

So it is quite clear that anyone who accuses the Jonathan administration squandering $65 Billion ECA funds is speaking in ignorance.

What I would advise Rotimi Amaechi to do is to take his own advise from last week when he said “I agree with those who said we should stop criticising the last government and that we should do our own”

It is very wrong for Rotimi Amaechi to keep blaming the Jonathan administration while at the same time enjoying the fruits of its labour like the Abuja-Kaduna railway and the national railway that was revived by the Jonathan government after years of being moribund. If they are drinking from Jonathan’s well, let them appreciate the man who dug the well
