The Power of Love - Dating Smart

You don’t need to depend on fate to bring “The One” to your doorstep. You might have to wait a very long time.

You don’t have to be the prettiest girl or the most handsome guy to be a successful dater. You don’t need a huge bank account. You don’t have to drive a new sports car, live in a large home, have the best sense of humor, or the most confidence. These things are all desirable, but chances are, they won’t keep the target of your affection around forever.

So what is it that you need to get and keep your love around? The answer is simple.

Power.

Many people looking for relationships are searching for someone to complete them, to fill in what is lacking in their own lives. A smart dater pays attention to detail, determines what it is that the other person is lacking, and ultimately provides it. A smart dater knows that when you are a source of something another person needs to be happy, you have power over them.

The first step to achieving power and becoming a smart dater is assessing the personality of the person you want to be with. You must zone in on the characteristic that defines the person most. Then, use your observations about their personality to determine what the person needs in his or her life to be happy. Finally, provide it.

Take, for example, the aggressive personality. If you’re in love with The Aggressor, you know that he or she isn’t a bit shy. The Aggressor knows what he or she is after, and thrives on the challenge of attaining it. Love with The Aggressor can be compared to a sport, and The Aggressor is looking to win. Like in any sport, an easy victory can be quite boring and quick.

Your task is to give the Aggressor a challenge. Do not let your heart be an easy win. If you do, the Aggressor will simply move on to the next person. When the Aggressor leaves you a voicemail to call them back, forget to call. When the Aggressor asks you out for a date, once in a while tell them that you are too busy.

Be moody, selfish, and difficult from time to time. Now, don’t be completely mean – remember, you must give kindness and affection to The Aggressor as much as you take it away. This will drive The Aggressor insane, and cause him or her to lose focus on the game. In no time, you’ll be holding the trophy.

Perhaps your love interest is not The Aggressor. Perhaps he or she is reserved and shy. This personality type tends to be innocent, and maybe lacking in solid relationship experience. Your job, then, is to initiate The Quiet One into the realm of relationships and dating. Give The Quiet One something to get excited about.

Shower The Quiet One with frivolous gifts and attention. Approach The Quiet One with zest, energy, and an ultra-positive attitude about life. Essentially, bring The Quiet One out of his or her shell, making them feel comfortable with you. In return, The Quiet One will become almost dependant on you for fun, activity, and love.

There is a myriad of personality types you will find out in the world. Another is The Snob. This person needs an average Joe or Jane to bring them down to earth. They won’t want to stoop to the level of giving you a second look – but be persistent. The Snob’s affection is earned. The more affection you give, the more flattered The Snob will become.

This is because The Snob, by trait, likes to be given things. Instead of spoiling the Snob with things he or she already has, provide something unique. Cook The Snob romantic dinners at home, and skip the fancy restaurants. Pick the female Snob wildflowers instead of buying traditional roses. The Snob can then brag to other Snobs that he or she has someone “different” than everyone else. And as you know, Snobs always like to have what everyone else doesn’t.

There is also The Soap Opera Star. If you have the saintly qualities needed to love The Soap Opera Star, more power to you. This person eats, sleeps, and breathes drama. Take the normal ups and downs in life, and multiply them by 1000. Such is the life of The Soap Opera Star. The Soap Opera Star misplaces his golf club, and everything that happens from that point on in the day is absolutely ruined.

Don’t be surprised if The Soap Opera Star takes his or her troubles out on you. If you desire to love this gem, patience, understanding (even if you must pretend) and the ability to console are qualities you have to put forth. The Soap Opera Star will end up completely in love with you. If you decide to leave The Soap Opera Star, he or she will stalk you.

Another popular personality is The Complainer. Everything annoys The Complainer. You can tell The Complainer that he or she looks nice today, and they will respond with a very serious, “Why do you have to lie to me? I gained 5 pounds in the last week, my pants look too short, and I’m having a bad hair day. I definitely know I can’t trust you to tell me the truth.” If you truly love The Complainer, you will never take their words to heart.

You will also keep providing them with more topics to complain about, like a drug supply to an addict. Bring up topics that you know they love to moan about. They, in turn, will provide you with hours of one-on-one conversation. You’d better have a good ear to listen and be able to support them in their outlandish claims. Don’t expect to do too much talking yourself. The Complainer will love you to death. Literally.

All in all, no matter what type of person you are trying to win over, you can do it with a little bit of common sense and consideration. Think your way through the situation. That’s all it takes. The power of love is in your hands

21 No-Cost (or Extremely Low-Cost) Ways to Remind Your Special Other of How Much You Love Them

It's so easy, as we race through each day trying to accomplish an impossible number of tasks, to forget about those we love. Soon, and often unintentionally, one partner, or both, are left feeling unappreciated, overlooked and in need of some serious "TLC."

Logically, we all know that a relationship must receive attention if it is to grow. Realistically, few of us take the time to fan the relationship flames as often as we should. But help is on the way.

Showing your special someone how much you love them doesn't have to take a lot of time or cost a lot of money. In fact, it's better if it doesn't -- it's the little things that we remember most. So don't wait until next Valentine's Day to show your significant other that you love and appreciate them. Try to incorporate at least one of these romantic ideas into your partner's day, every day (and when you've done them all, keep going by creating your own, or repeat the cycle!)

Cook them their favorite meal. Have it ready to go when they walk in the door, complete with candles. 1.

Leave a note for your special other (or tuck one into a lunch/briefcase) telling them how much you care.

Try your hand at a love poem that includes special memories only the two of you share. Leave it somewhere unexpected. 2.

Make your partner a CD of "your" songs. Have it playing when they come home.

If married, have your wedding vows framed and give it to your spouse "just because." 3.

On a cold day, warm up their car for them.

Volunteer to do their share of the housework so they can relax. 4.

 Let them sleep in.

Pamper your significant other by running a bath for them. Include bath salts, candles, and soft music, then wash their hair 5.

Give your partner a massage (before they ask for it).

Bring them lunch at work. 6.

Stop to say hello, kiss and hug every time you come in the front door.

Pack a lunch and take your special someone on a surprise picnic or walk in the woods. Or, pack a desert and go stargazing. 7.

 Flirt with them.

Hold his or her hand. 8.

Bring them a blanket or sweater if they look cold.

Tell them you love and appreciate them, don't just assume they know. 9.

Create your own holiday, then surprise your significant other with a celebration. This could be: "Happy 18 days since your last cigarette," a 2.5-year anniversary, or "I Love You More Than Ever Day."

Leave a flower and a note on the windshield of their car. 10.

Cuddle for at least five minutes in the morning before getting out of bed.

Buy them a small, but meaningful, gift such as their favorite gourmet coffee, a pair of warm socks because their feet are always cold, a book on tape for them to listen to while stuck in traffic, etc.

Must Watch: Outrage as couple’s s3x video goes viral in Taraba

The Taraba Police Command, on Monday, warned citizens in the state against circulating s3x video on social network platforms.

A s3x video involving a man and a woman, both of whom were residents of Jalingo, had gone viral on the social network, sparking off public outrage.

The command’s spokesman, Mr David Misal, said that circulating s3x video can constitute a public nuisance, which can spark off public unrest.

“The perpetrators of this act must desist from it immediately because it can cause public nuisance and dent the image of our society,’’ Misal said.
When contacted, a Muslim cleric, Ustaz Aminu Abdullahi, condemned the video and urged security stakeholders in the state to address the issue immediately.
“I am calling on all stakeholders to tackle this offence, which is against our religion, culture and even our laws.

“The two persons having sex in the tape are residents of Jalingo. We expect them to be brought to book to serve as a deterrent to others.
“This irresponsibility cannot be allowed to continue because it will erode our values and expose our children to immorality.”Watch video below..

Hippo Photobombs Couple’s Engagement Pics, And They’re Living Happily Now

Hayley Roll was on a day-trip to the Cincinnati Zoo with her boyfriend, Nick Kelble, to visit viral superstar Fiona the Hippo when something amazing happened. Roll handed her phone to someone who agreed to take a photo of them, and when she turned back around, her partner of one year was down on one knee with a ring in his hand.

While the moment was infinitely sweet and adorable, the couple got the best surprise ever when they went back to look at their camera reel. Fiona, the diva hippo extraordinaire whom they had come to the zoo to see, had shamelessly photobombed their engagement – neck rolls and all. “We’re so happy Fiona could be there on our special day,” Roll wrote on Instagram. There’s no word yet on whether or not Fiona plans to crash the wedding as well, but we think the chances could be high.

Fiona is no stranger to the spotlight. She first made headlines back in January, when she managed to survive being born six weeks early thanks to the help of a dedicated medical team and came out of it looking adorable as ever.

Scroll down to see her latest celebrity appearance, and let us know if you wouldn’t mind this voluptuous diva invading your photos.

Love: I Don’t Have Time For Girlfriends – Anthony Joshua

Nigerian-British boxing champion, Anthony Joshua has revealed that he sacrificed some important personal activities in order to remain on top of his career in boxing. Some of the things he had to put off include issues of love and marriage.

Joshua revealed to the London Evening Standard that his training regime doesn’t leave ‘much time for girlfriends’, while also suggesting that he may not settle down until the next 10 years.
“If people can ride with me for the next 10 to 12 years I would really appreciate it, but if they can’t foresee the future I’d rather they jump off the boat because I can’t stop for no one right now,” he said at the launch of his mobile service Voxi.

“I was speaking to my coach, who worked with [British former world champion] Carl Froch who had a 12-year career. One day it does finish and now he has all the time in the world to think about business, family. Not everyone likes the decisions I make but I’ve got to make my own decisions. Decisions I make impact others.

“And my time training means there is not much time for girlfriends either.”

Since his 2013 pro debut, Joshua has won all of his 19 fights by knockouts. He unified the IBF and WBA belts in April after beating the former champion, Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley Stadium.

Re-Union: John Legend once broke up with his wife but she refused to leave

In a recent interview, John Legend revealed that he actually once tried breaking up with his woman, Chrissy Teigen – years before they got married.

The 38-year-old singer said he tried breaking up with Chrissy, but she refused. Their “breakup” lasted only for an hour and a half, according to him.
John Legend told The Guardian, “I was really stressed and busy. I was just like: ‘I’d just be happier single right now,’ and she was like: 'No'.”

Talking about his relationship with Chrissy, he says “She pushes me to be funnier, not because she’s trying to, I think it’s just being around her. And to be bolder.”

John and Chrissy got married in Italy back in 2013. The couple has been together for nearly ten years and has a daughter together.
