A Nigerian jumps to his death in a bid to escape Malaysian immigration

New reports have it that a Nigerian student in Malaysian jumped to his death yesterday.

The deceased identified as Uju Pious Ejikeonye, from Imo State, died after jumping from the 13th floor of his condominium in an alleged bid to evade being arrested by Malaysian immigration.
The sad incident happened at Sri Puri Condominium Kuala Lumpur. Ejikeonye, was a student of the City University, Kuala Lumpur. He reportedly heard some noises from the officers and decided to run.

A tourist walks by a pregnant woman into the Red Sea and gives birth

Incredible pictures show the moment a woman gives birth to her baby underwater in the Red Sea.

The new mom, believed to be from Russia, gave birth with the help of her husband and a Russian doctor who specializes in water births.

Pictures of the doctor and the baby’s dad carrying the baby out of the waves in the resort town of Dahab, Egypt, went viral after being shared on social media.

The images, which show the baby with its umbilical cord still attached and its placenta in a plastic container was taken by a tourist from a hotel balcony.

The baby’s mom had just given birth after going into the sea while wearing a bikini, according to eyewitnesses.

Some Facebook users praised the apparent “beauty” and “easiness” of the baby’s water birth.

 Dahab, which lies 50 miles northeast of the popular resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, has become increasingly popular with moms-to-be aiming for a seawater birth, according to local media reports.

The woman, her husband, and their baby have not been named, and there is no report on the baby’s gender or condition.

 One social media user commented: “The sea was really red that day!”

Dahab, formerly a Bedouin fishing village, is popular with tourists and is now considered to be one of Sinai’s most treasured diving destinations.

The last 3 years of my life have been exciting because I allowed myself to escape the comfort of hiding at home and my work to find love. It came when I wasn’t expecting it, but at a time that I needed it. I was getting tired of doing the same thing over and over again; for although I loved it, it sometimes became lonely. And although I love the tranquillity and peace in loneliness, turning 35 was a good milestone to reflect over my life.

Darkoa was amongst the 35 family and friends I had selected to celebrate my 35th birthday with me over a dinner.

She was visiting Ghana for the first time since I started talking to her. The first memory I have of her was in May 2016 when I was in France, attending the Cannes film festival.

She had called, (through WhatsApp I think) to enquire about the services of an MC for a wedding. I told her I don’t do such but due to my work I could suggest someone for her. Few days later she called again to thank me although they couldn’t use the person I has suggested for the MC job. She drew a likeness for me and I her. And for some reasons although I typically hate chatting on WhatsApp with people I don’t know in real life, I became fond of her and gave her a lot more time than I give others.

We became buddies and as the universe would have it, she was meant to come to Ghana in the month of my birthday. She surprised me with some pre-birthday gifts when she arrived in town. And when my birthday was due, I invited her to join my family and friends for dinner. And offer she refused initially but later called to accept. The biggest dinner happened and there were a few more dinners later. And before she left Ghana, it was clear that we had some sparks.

So we continued exploring our friendship farther apart. But day in day out, we drew closer despite the distance. We would talk at odd hours due to the time difference about important and not so important stuff.

Nigerian OAP Dami Elebe has joined a lot of other social media users on the trending ‘Sugar Daddy’ topic. According to her, being considered a sugar daddy is not by age, but by the money in the bank.

Dami Elebe believes sugar daddies are not just supposed to be elderly men with white beards, even young men can also be considered as sugar daddies as long as the money is available to spend.

She made the post on twitter and just as usual, her followers reacted to the story with some lending their supports and some bashing her at the same time.

In her post she wrote: 'Sugar Daddy is not by age, it is by account balance…'

The OAP who had had previous experience with body-shamers due to her body size, once mentioned that even though she used to be hurt by their words, but now she is not affectd by anything they say to her. In a tweet she sent on twitter sometimes around last year, Dami Elebe said:


“The only reason I am desensitized to body shaming comments about me is because people have said it to damn much. At a point, it hurt but as I am now… It’s nothing” she tweeted at the beginning of her Twitter thread.

Dami Elebe’s series of tweets wasn’t only about her. She encouraged people to talk about how they handled their physical insecurities.


“Help someone overcome an insecurity they get teased about by tweeting about how you overcame yours” she tweeted.

Dami Elebe however didn’t allow the words of body-shamers to sink into her only, she also took steps to ensure that she stays in good shape.

“We all have our insecurities. My fat belly annoys me because I love crop tops so much. So until I lose the belly by work or by knife, Imma rock a crop top, however, I can. Case in point my Avi. #Secured” She said.
